Why UNHATE?

We believe that hate comes in many forms, issues and sizes. Different regions around the world are accustomed to different forms of hate for many different reasons. For you to contribute to the action, we think its best for you to know some of the reasons for the UNHATE campaign.

Some areas that deserve our attention are listed below. These regions are often left out of large media coverage and slip through the cracks when other world events occur. We believe that everyone's cause is just and that everyone's cause has the power to tell a story before bringing about change.

Our current focus is on eliminating hate and promoting acceptance of diversity. These regions are a part of that current focus.

In South America, we are focusing against hate and violence in the suburban areas.

In Brazil, we are fighting for youth living in the favelas. These impoverished children are victims and actors of cruel and unnecessary day by day hate and violence. We believe that art and music can change their lives. Here  is more information on this project.

In Lebanon we are aiming to support to projects fighting discrimination against young women. Tending with cultural beliefs, we hope to promote the positive qualities the women of Lebanon can bring to their country and create a learning environment for the people of that country to voice their opinions on women's rights, hoping to decipher why this is an instance of hate.
